North Lincolnshire Museum

Featuring a range of permanent galleries and a changing exhibition gallery, the museum offers a history experience for all the family. Play Avenue

Play Avenue is a safe and spacious indoor role play setting in Messingham, Scunthorpe designed to fuel imaginations. The Baths Hall

Messingham Zoo

Messingham Zoo is a family run business. Compared to larger zoos and wildlife parks it focusses on close up encounters with smaller, friendlier animals. Education forms a big part of the experience at the zoo, teaching about animal care and welfare.

The Plowright Theatre

The Plowright Theatre is a live entertainment venue and is the sister venue to The Baths Hall. The venue also hosts comcerts, comedy and very popular seasonal plays.

Normanyby Hall Country Park

Normanby Hall is a great day out for all the family! With the region’s first Go Ape, two new playground areas, new membership packages and a programme of events. As well as the Hall, Farming Museum, Gift Shop and Stableyard Café, enjoy historical woodland and a leisurely stroll around the Walled Garden.

The Pink Pig Farm

The Pink Pig Farm offers lots of fun for all ages. It has a huge tractor play area, animals, tractor rides, soft play and cafes! There is also a street of play pods which include a farm shop, cafe, kitchen, vets, dressing up and more. Also, during school holidays they often have special events on which add to the visit to the farm.

Central Park

In the heart of the town Central Park has great facilities and activities for kids with an exciting children’s play area. Including trampolines, Splashpad in the summer, embankment slide, challenging climbing frame with monkey bars, space nets and zip wire. Enjoy the ornamental gardens and sports facilities too including parkrun!
