Two injured in Frodingham Road collision

Humberside Police have launched an appeal following a serious road traffic collision in Scunthorpe.
The incident occurred yesterday, Sunday 7 February, at approximately 5:20pm.
Officers were called to a road traffic collision on Frodingham Road, Scunthorpe, where a man and woman are reported to have been crossing the road between Digby Street and Diana Street on a zebra crossing when they were struck by a Silver Vauxhall Astra.
The two pedestrians were injured in the collision.
Both are now being treated at hospital for their injuries.
The man sustained serious injuries and remains in a life-threatening condition.
A statement issued by a Humberside Police spokesperson said:
“If you saw the collision or have dashcam footage that could assist us with our enquiries, please call us on our non-emergency 101 line, quoting log 349”
