Green-light for 250 homes in Healing

A proposal for 250 residential properties in Healing has been given the green light by North East Lincolnshire Council.

The scheme, lead by Cyden Homes Ltd, will see the construction of homes containing between two and five bedrooms.

The development is also set to include a play area, public open space, landscaping, parking provision.

A new drainage infrastructure will also be put in place.

According to a planning application submitted to the council, primary access will be via Stallingborough Road, with emergency access via Larkspur Avenue.

No appeals were launched in opposition of the development, and full approval was granted last week.

However, neighbours have expressed concerns over the impact of building work and increased traffic on local residents.

Healing Parish Council raised no objections.

The nearest neighbours are those in Buttercup Court and on Forsythia Avenue.

However planners have stated that they believe residents will “not be unduly affected”.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming development?
