Yellow weather warning in place across Lincolnshire

Police say there are hazardous driving conditions on Lincolnshire’s roads after more heavy snow.

There were more than 30 crashes since 7am yesterday.

Lincolnshire Police thanked the Lincolnshire Community Assistance Team and their 4x4s for helping out drivers stuck in the snow.

Inspector Dean Gallagher from Lincolnshire Police said:

‘We’ve obviously got a high demand coming into the control room currently, which is mainly around vehicles being stranded or broken down and some of our vulnerable members of the pubic calling us.’
