With it being half term and still in lockdown, families are struggling to keep children entertained.
Helen Stothard and her children have been spreading some cheer in Scunthorpe High Street with a treasure hunt.
They have hidden dinosaurs around Scunthorpe High Street to give children something to smile about through half term.
Helen said ‘I always try to do things for charity, at Christmas I gave loads of brand new tots to the woman’s refuge’.
She continued ‘We normally paint stones and place them in the woods at Broughton, just as a little treasure hunt It’s just to keep children happy and give them something to smile about.’

It’s just something to smile about
We all can agree that’s it’s been an uncertain time for everyone and children have been so resilient though the pandemic. So next time you have to pop to the shops, keep your eye out for some pre-historic creatures lying around town!
