Man wanted by police in relation to Cleethorpes burglary

Officers from Humberside Police investigating a Cleethorpes burglary would like to speak to the man shown in the CCTV image in relation to the incident.

The burglary took place in a shop on St. Peter’s Avenue at 7.30pm on Thursday 18 February when a man broke into the shop and stole two cash registers. Fencing at the back of the store was also damaged during the incident.

A staff member was inside the shop at the time of the burglary. They were left shaken by the ordeal, but were not injured.

At 7.45pm – 15 minutes after the incident – a car, which was reported as stolen in October last year, was set alight on Coulbeck Drive in Cleethorpes. A cash register drawer was found inside the vehicle.

At the time of writing, one man has been arrested in connection with the Cleethorpes burglary. He was released under investigation while Humberside Police continue their enquiries.
