Cyclist injured in Cromwell Road collision

Humberside Police have launched an investigation after a cyclist sustained injuries following a collision on Cromwell Road, Grimsby.

The cyclist sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision which happened on Tuesday 16 February between 7:00-7:30pm.

It is reported that a light-coloured vehicle driving along Cromwell Road collided with a man riding a pushbike near to the Littlefield Lane junction.

The driver left the scene of the incident, travelling towards the roundabout near to the Tesco Express.

Officers are now appealing for the driver to come forward.

It is believed this light-coloured vehicle has the partial vehicle registration number BT5.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said:

“Despite a number of enquiries since the incident such as CCTV and speaking to witnesses, we have been unable to locate this driver.”

Anyone with information which might assist the police with their enquiries is urged to call the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 459 of 16 February.
