By EU nationals living in North East Lincolnshire have less than 100 days to apply for settlement
The Council have released a statement reminding EU nationals living in North East Lincolnshire that they have less than 100 days to apply to the Government’s EU Settlement Scheme.
The scheme allows EU, EEA and Swiss citizens and their families to continue living in the UK after 30 June 2021. Those who are the family member of an eligible person of Northern Ireland can also apply.
EU nationals are also reminded that they must also register their children if applicable, as they will not automatically be included in the application.
Up to now, the scheme has received over 5.1 million applications, with 4.8 million processed so far.
The scheme is free to apply to, and those who are successful will get either settled or pre-settled status.

The deadline to apply to the scheme is 30 June 2021. Applicants must have began living in the UK by 31 December 2020.
