By Local businesses given more time to apply for Covid-19 lateral flow tests for employees
Businesses in North East Lincolnshire have been given more time to apply for free rapid Covid-19 lateral flow tests for their employees.
The application process was originally supposed to close at the end of March, but the deadline has now been extended to 11:59pm on Monday 12 April.
Local businesses are encouraged to take up the offer of the free workplace home testing kits, in order to reduce the spread of Coronavirus and to allow employees to self-isolate more quickly if they test positive for the virus.
The lateral flow tests provide results in as little as 30 minutes, and can detect the virus in people who aren’t showing any symptoms.
If your business is registered in England, your employees are unable to work from home and you have more than 10 employees, you are entitled to register to order the free tests.
If your business is currently closed or you’re unable to provide your employees with tests now, you can still register to be able to order the tests in the future.
