Four-car crash near Hull Royal Infirmary

The incident happened at around 4:30pm outside the hospital car park.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the situation, meaning traffic was diverted down Londesborough Street.

Other nearby roads were also affected by congestion.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said:

“We attended a collision between four cars on Argyle Street, Hull shortly before 4.30pm yesterday, Wednesday, May 5.

“The road remained closed for a short period of time whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.

“One driver suffered minor injuries.”
