Local businesses are being invited to attend a special Covid-19 webinar next week, as North Lincolnshire continues to bounce back from the pandemic.
At the webinar, which takes place online at 8am on Tuesday 18 May, Public Health will provide an update on coronavirus in our area, as well as sharing practical guidance that businesses can implement to further drive down the risk of infection, protecting their staff and the wider community. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions.
The council’s Food Safety Team will also be on hand to discuss the latest Government guidance, implications for businesses, and the range of support that is available locally to ensure premises are Covid secure, including site visits.
The webinar will conclude with an update on how companies can access and benefit from the recently launched Covid-19 Recovery Support Programme. This new scheme includes a Business Start-Up Grant, Business Diversification Grant and Covid-19 Renew Scheme.
To register for the webinar, visit Eventbrite. Once signed up, businesses will be provided with a link to join the session on Microsoft Teams.
The council has worked proactively to support businesses through challenging times, protecting the local economy and investing millions in infrastructure.
Taking furlough payments into account, the council has ensured that approximately £200m of Government cash has been delivered to businesses through the pandemic, as well as providing comprehensive advice and support.
