Police issue update on Gainsborough crash

Just before 2.30 on Sunday 4 April a white Mazda 6 crashed into a house on Lea Road, Gainsborough.

Three people ran from the car, two men and a women.  The men have been identified but Lincolnshire police were struggling to identify the woman remaining until recently.

The car was stolen from an address in Brigg on 29 March.

Police issue update on Gainsborough incident when stolen car with three people inside crashed into a house.

Lincolnshire Police issued an update ‘As a result of our appeal we have been able to confirm the identity of the woman.

‘Thank you to the help of our community we have now identified the woman and our investigation continues.’

Police are still asking for witnesses or  if you have any information that could assist the inquiry to come forward.
