Arrest update on cannabis factory in Scunthorpe

Six man have now been charged after a large cannabis factory was found.

All six men have been charged with the production of cannabis and are due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court today, Friday 21 May.

Humberside police said “officers discovered approximately 1400 cannabis plants inside the property which had also been dangerously abstracting electricity from the street.

“An estimated £700,000 worth of plants were seized, and electricity was also made safe.”
