The search is on to find 24 engineering apprentices to join British Steel in September.

The new starters, who will be based in Scunthorpe, will enrol on 3-year training programmes managed by ourselves and North Lindsey College.

Closing date for applications is 25 June 2021.

The new engineering apprentices are in addition to the 30 mechanical and electrical apprentices who joined Scunthorpe and Teesside earlier this year.

There are four stages to the apprenticeship process, an online application form, numerical / literacy testing, assessments in July and August and then interviews take place in August.
