Humberside Police appealing for witnesses to reported sexual assault in Grimsby

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses to a reported sexual assault which is believed to have taken place on Coventry Avenue in Grimsby on Friday between 11pm and 11.30pm.

The victim has taken to social media in a bid to identify her attacker, who was believed to be delivering food from the delivery website Just Eat when the incident took place.

She wrote: “Last night on the Grange something really awful happened to me that could’ve been a lot worse if I had no strength to push him off.

“At around half 11 at night, a man from Just Eat was delivering to someone at a number down my street which was genuinely very hard to find, so like any other person would do, any gender, I helped him look for his address.

“He was tall, had dark hair, mid-30s, and he told me his name was Justin.”

A statement released by Humberside Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses to a reported sexual assault which is believed to have happened on Coventry Avenue in Grimsby between 11pm and 11:30pm on Friday 28 May 2021.
