Daniel Boulton appears in court charged with murder

29-year-old Daniel Boulton has appeared in court charged with the murder of a mother and her child.

Bethany Vincent, 26, and her nine-year-old son Darren Henson were found stabbed at a house in Louth on Monday evening.

Boulton, of Alexandra Road, Skegness, was remanded in custody by Lincoln Magistrates’ Court.

Mr Boulton has also been charged with one count of wounding with intent to resist arrest and one of burglary.

The suspect was arrested at a farm in nearby Hubbard’s Hills around 16 hours after the double killing when police put out an appeal.

He is also charged with wounding with intent to resist after stabbing an off-duty police officer at the farm before being apprehended.

Daniel Boulton was arrested in Lincolnshire on Tuesday.

He is due to appear before Lincoln Crown Court later on Friday.
