By Matthew Hayward and Paul Ormston are set to run an incredible distance from Cleethorpes to Scunthorpe General Hospital.
They are set to run this Saturday to help raise funds for the stroke unit.
The distance equates to a marathon – and more!
Matthew said: “I am running an ultra marathon from Cleethorpes to Scunthorpe General Hospital to raise money for the stroke ward.
“Five years ago my grandad passed away of a stroke and the treatment grandad received and support the staff gave nana and our family was second to none, so I thought it was time to give something back!”
The run is in memory of Matthew’s grandad
Matthew has already raised over £480 of his £1,000 target.
The Health Tree Foundation is the charity for the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust.
