How to get your hands on tickets for Armed Forces Day 2021

Information on how to obtain tickets for Armed Forces Day 2021 has been released by North East Lincolnshire Council.

Set to take place on 26 and 27 June, the event is being held at Meridian Showground in Cleethorpes for the first time.

Due to the restrictions on numbers within the Showground, the event will be ticketed, with five free sessions available for the public to come and show their support.

The weekend will include impressive displays, parades, and activities being staged in two-hour timed slots to ensure that “all requests from public health and the emergency services” have been met, according to the Council.

The event will also include a food court and local traders.

Time slots throughout the weekend will be:

Saturday 26 June

Session 1: 10am-12.30pm

Session 2: 1pm-3.30pm

Session 3: 4pm-6.30pm

Sunday 27 June

Session 4: 11am-11.30pm

Session 5: 2pm-4.30pm

The free tickets for Armed Forces Day can be picked up from Blighty’s Cafe on Knoll Street in Cleethorpes, open from 10am until 2pm from Monday to Saturday.
