By Man hospitalised following two-car collision
Police were called to the M180 following reports of a two-vehicle collision between junctions 4 and 5 at 6:45pm yesterday evening.
Two lanes of the westbound carriageway between J5 (A180, Elsham) and J4 (Scawby) were forced to close for several hours as a result.
Highways England Traffic Officers and an ambulance crew were also called.
Motorists were advised to avoid the area and diverted away from the scene.
The road later reopened around 10:30pm.
One man was taken to hospital to receive treatment after sustaining serious injuries.
His current condition is unknown.
Humberside Police have urged anyone who witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage from driving in the area at the time, to call the non-emergency 101 line, quoting log 440 of 30 June.
