Local hospice launches biggest ever prize draw

A North Lincolnshire charity has officially launched it’s ‘Win a Car for Christmas’ campaign, offering people the chance to win a brand new car for just £5 a ticket.

The campaign was officially launched at Lindsey Lodge Hospice and Healthcare’s Family Extravaganza charity day at Market Rasen Racecourse on Sunday 2 August.

One lucky winner will drive into the New Year with a brand new Suzuki Ignis SZ-T Hybrid worth £15,900, thanks to the fantastic support of family run business Baden Powell.

In addition to the brand new car, Lindsey Lodge is also giving away a Samsung 43” 4K Smart TV and a Lay-z Spa, which have been kindly donated by Euronics Johns Electrical and B&Q Scunthorpe.

Lindsey Lodge Fundraiser Sophie Boyd said: “As an independent charity a large portion of our £3.7 million annual running costs comes from fundraising and charitable donations.

“Our traditional Superdraws have raised thousands for Lindsey Lodge in the past, so we’re really hoping that this will be our biggest draw yet with such amazing prizes up for grabs!”

Tickets are now available to purchase online, from Lindsey Lodge retail outlets and Baden Powell Scunthorpe.

Sophie added: “Thanks to the generous support of Baden Powell, Euronics Johns Electical and B&Q Scunthorpe, the money raised from the draw will help to ensure we’re always there to care for our patients and their families.”
