Covid testing push continues despite flooding in Grimsby
Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust continue to push for Covid screenings and tests across the area despite recent flooding.
Last weekend, they had to close the Grimsby
site due to flooding from thunderstorms and excessive rainfall.
All the staff worked incredibly hard and under challenging circumstances, they changed their hours, worked extended shifts and moved sites last minute to ensure patients still received their COVID-19 screening.
They completed visits all over Lincolnshire including Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea and displayed great teamwork to provide excellent patient care.
Taking to Facebook, the Foundation Trust
said: “Our Swabbing Team tackle all the elements whilst working at our swabbing sites.”
“An additional thanks to Administrator, Lynn who worked extremely hard on Saturday contacting more than 60 patients to explain the situation, reassure them and arrange appropriate pathways for them to have their swabs.”
