Heartwarming tributes for caravan fire victim
A touching GoFundMe page has been set up to support the Nottinghamshire family of the little girl who sadly lost her life in an unexplained caravan fire.
The fundraiser has raised over a phenomenal £15,000 at the time of this writing since its creation yesterday.
Over 600 people have come together to pay tribute to the girl by donating money to the fundraiser.
The page was created by Laurie Selfridge on behalf of Georgie Brooke McGowan in order to aid Natasha and children during this tough time.
Lincolnshire Police confirmed that on Monday 23 August, at approximately 10:30am, two-year-old Louisiana-Brook Broadley had died in a fire at the Sealands Caravan Park in Ingoldmells.
Laurie hopes that the tributes for the caravan fire victim will give Natasha some peace.
On the GoFundMe page, she said: “As yesterday’s [Tuesday’s] tragic news has broken all our hearts .. only god knows what pain Natasha and her children are going through right now.
“Their life has been torn apart in a million ways.
“Their baby sister so tragically taken from them all .. if only we can give Tasha some peace at this time by helping her in any way you can, it would be so appreciated.
“Please donate anything you can.”
Detective Inspector Jo Fortune, Senior Investigating Officer at Lincolnshire Police, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of those involved in this tragic incident and I send our condolences.
“We will do everything we can to establish what has happened.
“I would like to pass on my personal thanks to everyone who helped on the evening and has supported the family too.
“It was a very serious and frightening time.”
Anyone with any information which may help the investigation should contact Lincolnshire Police on 101, quoting incident 469 of August 23, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Our thoughts are with the family.
