Cleethorpes Town get green-light for new facilities
Cleethorpes Town FC have announced that they will be installing new changing rooms and changes to the clubhouse after plans were approved by the council.
The new facilities at the myenergi Stadium will replace the temporary portacabins and changings rooms which were put in place in 2018.
Four new changing areas will also be made available for the teams, enabling more diversity with more facilities available for both men and women.
A new training room will also be built, which will be available for both sports and business clubs to use.
A club statement has said the “facility will be widely available to the local community increasing the clubs reach into the area.”
The plans had been in consideration by North East Lincolnshire council for months and were finally given the go-ahead in a planning committee meeting on Wednesday.
A council report had no qualms with the plans saying that the proposal would “offer a better design and material pallet” than the current temporary arrangements.
