Appeal after racially aggravated assault in Cleethorpes

Humberside Police are appealing for information after a racially aggravated assault in Cleethorpes left a delivery driver injured.

The victim was left with a fractured hand and wrist.

According to reports, three men approached a delivery driver at around 8.20pm on Thursday, December 2, on Grimsby Road, between the junctions of Lestrange Street and Bramhall Street,.

One of the men is said to have assaulted the victim causing him to fall to the ground.

One of the suspects is described as white, clean shaven, aged between 20 and 25, and around 5’9″ tall.

He is thought to have been wearing dark clothes.

An appeal issued by Humberside Police reads:

“Officers are appealing for information regarding reports of a racially aggravated assault on Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes, at around 8:20pm on Thursday 2 December.

“It is reported that three men approached a delivery driver between the Lestrange Street and Bramhall Street junctions, where one of the men is believed to have assaulted the victim, causing him to fall to the ground and fracture his hand and wrist.
“The suspect is described as white, between 20 and 25 years old and around 5’9” tall. He was wearing dark clothing and was clean shaven.”
