By Where to receive your Covid vaccines in Grimsby this week
With the nation being encouraged to receive their Covid booster jabs before Christmas, the NHS and North East Lincolnshire Council have provided a list of all the places you can receive your Covid vaccine in Grimsby this week.
As part of the vaccine programme, a new, walk-in vaccination unit opened in Freshney Place Shopping Centre, across from HMV.
It will offer first and second doses of both the Pfizer and the Moderna vaccines between now and Christmas Eve.
It will be run by Drugs4Delivery staff between 10:00am and 6:30pm on Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 December, as well as on Christmas Eve from 9:00am till 3:00pm.
The unit will be turned into a testing centre with lateral flow tests after this date.
Currently, covid boosters are available to those aged 18 or over as well as individuals in at-risk groups, as long as they received their second dose of the vaccine at least three months prior.
Walk-ins are only available to people aged 16 or over.
