By Police issue update after A18 road traffic collision
At approximately 6:00am this morning, Wednesday 22 December, motorists were advised to avoid the A18 northbound at Aylesby due to a serious road traffic collision.
A three-vehicle crash resulted in chunks of the cars being scattered across the carriageway between the A46 and Beach Holt Lane.
Emergency services were called to the scene shortly after the incident happened.
It is believed that the victims received only minor injuries.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Emergency services were in attendance at a road traffic collision on the A18, Aylesby.
“This occurred at 6.05am and is believed to have been a three-vehicle collision.
“The A18 [was] closed this morning but has since reopened.”
