Police catch wanted man following Cleethorpes burglaries

On Tuesday 28 December, a wanted Grimsby man was successfully found and charged following three burglaries which took place in Cleethorpes and Waltham.

The incidents took place in November and December of this year.

Several expensive items were reportedly taken from the targeted properties.

26-year-old Joshua George was charged with three counts of burglary, attempted burglary and road-related offences.

He is due to appear in court later today, Wednesday 29 December.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “Yesterday (Tuesday 28 December) a 26-year-old man was charged with three counts of burglary, attempted burglary and two road-related offences following a number of burglaries in November and December.

“It is reported that a number of high-value items are believed to [have been] taken from properties in Waltham and Cleethorpes.

“Josh George (26) of Castle Street, Grimsby has been remanded in custody to appear at Grimsby Magistrate Court today (Wednesday 29 December).”
