Woman charged for Cleethorpes assault

A 35-year-old woman was arrested after an assault in Cleethorpes was reported on Monday 27 December 2021.

Local woman Charleen Hall was charged for attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and theft, Humberside Police reported.

A man was injured during the incident and damage was caused to a property.

Hall is reportedly due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court today, Monday 3 January.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “A 35-year-old woman has been charged following a reported assault in Cleethorpes last week.

“Charleen Hall, of Reynolds Street, Cleethorpes, has been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm and theft.

“She was detained to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court this morning, Monday 3 January.

“It was reported that a man suffered injuries following an altercation with a woman at an address in Cleethorpes on Monday 27 December.

“The woman then allegedly caused damage to the property.”
