By Residents left shocked after serious incident down Peaksfield Avenue
Residents in Grimsby have been left shocked after police decended on an alleyway down Peaksfield Avenue last night.
At roughly 10:30 pm last night (18 January) officers from Humberside Police responded to reports of a serious incident but it is currently unclear what took place.
Officers cordoned off an alleyway down Patrick Street, Grimsby before the dogs unit and armed police also arrived on the scene.
The police cordon remains in Place this morning with officers in attendendance.
Residents have been asked to stay indoors and not enter the alleyway as it is still considered a crime scene.
One local resident told Gi Media: “It’s sad the neighbourhood has gone downhill like this.
“It’s shocking and sadenning that this has happened down our street.”
