Met places limitations on Sue Gray report

The Metropolitan Police has asked those involved in conducting the Sue Gray report into alleged lockdown parties at Downing Street to make ‘minimal reference’ to any events it is investigating.

This comes after the force launched its own investigation after it was passed ‘extremely damning’ information.

According to a report by the BBC, the Met have requested that Sue Gray’s team help them “avoid any prejudice to our investigation”.

The force has not asked for publication to be delayed.

Updates to follow.
