Schoolgirl ‘seriously’ injured in crash

A school girl has been seriously injured following a road traffic collision in Humberston.

The incident happened at the junction of Parklands Avenue and Humberston Avenue between 7:50am and 8:05am on Thursday the 27th of January.
Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a collision between a car and a pushbike.
The girl sustained ‘serious injuries’ to her hip and knee as a result.
Humberside Police are now appealing for witnesses and would like to speak to a man and a woman who are thought to have helped the victim at the scene.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “The girl in was wearing a black coat, black school clothes, a blue helmet, and carrying a black school bag, and was riding a black pushbike with orange and blue decals.

“It is believed she was helped at the scene by a man and a woman.”

Officers would like to speak to the man and woman, or anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV of the area.
