A ‘dangerous sex offender’ who absconded from HMP North Sea Camp in Boston, Lincolnshire, is now the subject of a police manhunt.
Paul Robson, 56, was reported missing from the open prison at around 7am yesterday, Sunday 13th February.
He is currently serving a life sentence for attempted rape and indecent assault.
The public are warned not to approach him.
According to Lincolnshire Police, officers are working on “numerous lines of inquiry” in the search for Robson.
Detective Chief Superintendent Andy Cox said:
“He could be anywhere in the country, and we are really keen to hear from the public with potential sightings so we can take this man off our streets.
“Robson is a dangerous sex offender and while he presents a particular danger to women and young children, I believe he can cause real harm to anyone he comes across.”
Robson is described as white, of slim build, bald and was last seen with a long goatee beard.
Anyone who might have seen Robson or who has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Lincolnshire Police by calling 999.
