Man seen with weapon during ‘alleged affray’
Police officers in Grimsby are investigating reports of a man brandishing a weapon during an incident which took place yesterday.
The ‘affray’ is said to have happened on Roberts Street at around 2:30pm.
According to reports, one man is said to have confronted another, before brandishing a weapon.
Humberside Police have now launched a public appeal for information, and are asking witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses to an alleged affray that is reported to have occurred in Grimsby at around 2:30pm yesterday (Thursday 17 February).
“It is reported that a man confronted another on Roberts Street, Grimsby, before brandishing a weapon.
“If anyone has information or footage that may assist with our enquiries, you can contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting 16/25813/22.”
