Motorcyclist being treated for ‘serious injuries’ after Laceby crash

Humberside Police are appealing for information following a serious crash in Laceby last night which left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

At rouhgly 7:20 pm yesterday evening (Tuesday 22 February) ofiicers were called to a two-vehicle traffic collision on the eastbound A46 near Laceby.

It is reported that a motorbike and a car collided, prompting the arrival of emergency services.

The road was closed from the A18 roundabout to Cottagers Plot while officers attended the scene.

The motorcyclist was taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries sustained the collision.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said:”We were called to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision at around 7.20pm yesterday (Tuesday 22 February).

“It was reported that a motorbike and a car were in collision on the eastbound A46 near Laceby. The motorcyclist was taken to hospital for treatment on serious injuries.

“The road was closed from the A18 roundabout to Cottagers Plot roundabout shortly after. We thank motorists for their patience while emergency services carried out their duties.
