By Local restaurant closes its doors for good
A popular Cleethorpes restaurant has closed its door for the last time, reports suggest.
According to data stored on Companies House, a Government database, Relish Bar & Kitchen, Alexandra Road, Cleethorpes, has ceased trading.
Rumours circulated that the venue displayed a ‘closing down’ notice which was later confirmed by Government documents.
According to reports, Relish had a ‘striking off notice’ displayed on Companies House which alerted others to its potential closing.
A ‘Final Gazette Notice’ was displayed shortly after, confirming Relish’s closure.
The news of the popular restaurants closure follows the ‘suspected’ closure of Silhouette, an LGBTQ+ club.
Relish’s social media outlets have not released a statement to address the public with their phone line and website also down.
The closure of Relish is a blow to the Town, a popular restaurant with overwhelmingly positive reviews.
Tripadvisor has ranked Relish as the 4th best restaurant in Cleethorpes, 4.5 star ratings and over 900 reviews.
Locals have said it is a shame Relish has closed down, “their food was lovely”
Another added: “We loved the food and service in Relish”
