Mains repairs on Pelham Road could last another month

Mains repairs on Pelham Road, Immingham, could take as long as one month to complete.

Anglian Water are currently conducting mains repairs which have created concerns with residents.

The repairs have an estimated completion date of April 2 which would further frustrate those affected.

In a social media post, one resident illustrated numerous concerns with the works, one of which being congested traffic near a school.

Residents were quick to point out the area seemingly being worked was not on the road itself, but a patch of land to the side of the road.

This raised questions with daily commuters after traffic lights were erected, creating “absolute madness”

One local said:

“Absolute madness putting them outside the school to, it’s a nightmare in the morning on the way to work, get through 3 sets of lights to then be immediately stuck in a que of people turning into Cannon Peter Hall”

“The traffic lights have caused mayhem”, another added.

Anglian Waters haven been contacted for a statement.
