Primark to launch new website

Primark has announced it has plans to launch a new website.

The website could include a ‘click and collect shopping option.

It would be the first time shoppers of the fashion giant would be able to order online.

Retail bosses have said they expect the website to be live by the end of March.

It will allow customers to see what stock is in store at any one time, including sizes, availability, etc.

They have also reportedly confirmed that customers will be able to check stock levels in their local store.

Primark has yet to officially confirm if it will allow shoppers to “click and collect” orders when its new website launches.

John Bason, finance director of Primark’s owner, Associated British Foods, told Reuters: “We’re making the digital move forward in a very big way in both the UK and the rest of Europe.

“That will generate sales and profits for us. Does this give us the capability to move further forward? Well, let’s have a look at that.
