Plaques and trees unveiled at COVID-19 recognition services

Coronavirus recognition services have been held this week.

Services have taken place at hospitals in Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Goole.

Led by Reverend Harry Smart, the services paid tribute to all COVID-19 victims and their families.

Rev Smart unveiled plaques and trees provided by The Health Foundation (HTF) which were planted in recognition of all those impacted by the virus.

Reverend Harry Smart began with a tribute and a blessing.

He then handed out iris bulbs whilst Clare Woodard, Charity Manager for HTF, handed out daffodils to everyone in attendance.
