Paid extras wanted for ‘major’ Netflix crime thriller
Paid extras are wanted for a new, ‘major Netflix series with Grimsby being one of four shooting locations.
The series will be partly filmed in Grimsby later this year.
Bookers at Extra People, a production company that has worked on smash hit intellectual properties such as Peaky Blinders, The Crown and Ted Lasso are looking for people interested in applying for a paid ‘extras’ role, the Lincolnite have reported.
It is understood that the bookers are looking to hire extras living in Grimsby, Rotherham, Leeds and Sheffield.
The filming is set to commence in May with shoots also planned for September of this year.
The Netflix series has been listed under “Project IV” on Extra People alongside a brief description, suggesting the series will be titled “bodies”.
Bodies, a Netflix adaptation of Si Spencer’s graphic novel with the same title has been billed as the next major series, putting Grimsby on the map.
It is understood that the series will have eight-parts and will follow four detectives through four eras, all of which are investigating the same murder.
Extra People are looking for hundreds of people of all ethnicities, genders and ages. However, you will have to be over the age of 16 to work on the project.
The bookers have confirmed day rates between £110 to £180 will be available. You will receive a payout based on the hours worked in a single day.
