Brand new bar to take over vacant Arthur’s House
A new independent bar has announced on social media that they will be taking over the now vacant Arthur’s House in Cleethorpes after their shock closure this week.
Bar Forty One announced they would be opening a cocktail lounge, stating: “41 is a symbol of hope and affirmation. That we should be more hopeful in life, trust ourselves more and don’t let anybody else tell us otherwise.
“It is also considered a symbol of spiritual guidance. It brings us inspiration and imagination to make changes in our lives to create something magical.
“While our guardian angels are right here above us, watching everything we do to make sure we are on the right path.
“We are an independent family business. Our family are truly at the heart of everything we do. We hope you can make some magical memories over a glass of your favourite tipple with your friends, family and loved ones here at Forty One.”
Although an opening date hasn’t been announced, they plan to open ‘soon’.
Arthur’s House cocktail lounge closed earlier this week after the landlord took control of the property with a forfeiture notice.
The landlord then confirmed that the bar would not be reopening but that a new bar would take its place, hopefully opening by the end of the month.
