Walking Weekend at Nunny Farm

Nunny’s Farm has taken to social media to showcase its latest idea for the community.

The quaint farm tucked away in the heart of Nunsthorpe is an urban community farm with a variety of animals.

The farm has announced its plans for the Easter weekend and it even includes an Easter egg hunt the farm.

They have also announced a ‘Walking Weekend’, which is in conjunction with the Easter egg hunt.

A walking weekend would involve walking with some of the animals, including alpacas, sheep, or goats.

They are also looking to continue the ‘Walking Weekend’ depending on the success of the current.

Nunny’s Farm posted to social media to advertise the weekend, they said:

“To help burn off some of those chocolate eggs, we will be offering animal walks this weekend.

“Why not come along and walk either the ponies, alpacas, sheep, or goats?

“There is no need to book and if it goes well, we will look to do this on future weekends throughout the summer.

The price is listed at £1.00 a walk.

One user wrote on social media “A wonderful idea!”.

“A nice idea for the community for all to be involved!”.

Times: 11:00-13:00-15:00 Good Friday, Easter Saturday Sunday, and Monday.
