By Appeals following fatal Scunthorpe collision
Humberside Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision in Scunthorpe yesterday.
The incident happened at around 14:05 yesterday (19 April) on the A1077 Phoenix Parkway.
The force stated two lorries and a red Yamaha had been travelling eastbound from the direction of Tesco, towards the Foxhill Industrial Estate, Scunthorpe when the collision took place.
Sadly, the motorbike rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
It is understood that nobody else suffered any injuries as a result of the crash.
In the appeal, Humberside Police said their thoughts are with the man’s family and friends during such a difficult time.
Officers are now appealing for drivers who were in the area at the time of the crash to come forward with dashcam footage.
Additionally, the force has urged anyone who witnessed the collision to contact their non-emergency number.
