There are Crime officers on the scene gathering evidence.
Shoppers are having to walk on the road to avoid the taped-off area.
The bus lane is affected by the police cars at the scene as they conduct their investigations.
A bus shelter has been damaged and broken glass can be seen on the ground.
Humberside Police have been contacted for comment.
