Former Lid tapas premises goes up for rent

The former Lids tapas restaurant premises in Scartho, Grimsby, has been listed for rent following its zero-star food rating and subsequent closure.

The business closed its doors in February this year, weeks after it had received the shockingly low hygiene rating.

At the time, a spokesperson attributed the closure to a ‘licensing’ issue and cited an earlier closure down to a ‘gas leak’.

The former premises has now been listed as available to lease with local estate agents, Scotts.

The building is advertised as to let with a figure of £13,500 per year in close proximity to public transport links and Scartho village.

In the advert, it boasts being located in the heart of Scartho and having numerous other retailers surrounding it.

The listing says there is generous space inside for those who wish to undertake, with a combined total of 1,215 square feet over two floors.

It has been referenced as having a ‘restaurant/bistro style premises’ as it comes fitted with a kitchen, storeroom, and toilets.
