Grimsby manager Paul Hurst is under increased pressure

The Mariners are ‘ready to go’ with less than 48 hours until kick-off!

Grimsby Town gaffer has stated his roster of talent is “ready to go” as they prepare to take on Solihull Moors in the play-off final on Sunday.

Today, Town gaffer Paul Hurst sat down and discussed his thoughts, feelings, and general preparations ahead of the Mariners big game!

One of the biggest concerns for Town this season has been injuries which rendered players such as Efete, Raikhy, McAtee, Scannell and more out of action for a considerable amount of time.

Thankfully, Hurst has confirmed a clean bill of health for his team, describing the notion as “positive”.

“We’re all good, players are ready to go”, he added.

From an attacking point-of-view, the Town gaffer will be spoilt for choice as he praised his players performances during the previous two play-off fixtures.

“The teams that have been put out for the two play-off games have performed extremely well”, he said.

When asked if the team picked itself, Hurst teased fans could expect the same/similar starting side that won against Wrexham, but suggested each team poses new tasks which need to be assessed.

Hurst retained a sense of calmness and confidence with himself and his mighty Mariners, stating:

“Overall, I feel like we are in a good place going into the final”

“It should be a very good game”, added Hurst.
