By Times and events announced for Cleethorpes fantastic Armed Forces Weekend!
As the much-loved armed forces weekend draws nearer, timings for the parade and Red Arrows appearances are now being released.
The Armed Forces events team said: “The Armed Forces Major Events Team (AFMET) are completing plans for the specific elements of the 2022-Armed Forces Weekend, and we are now able to share some specific timings with everyone.
“Please be aware that some elements can be affected by weather and mechanical reliability, and we will keep information updated as soon as we are informed of any changes. Flying displays are in the planned order of appearance.”
Friday 24th June 2022:
12.00 – All Trade stalls open for business along the seafront
18.00 – Carnival Parade sets off from Grant Street along the seafront and dispersing at the Boating Lake
Saturday 25th June 2022:
10.00 – All Trade stalls open for business along the seafront
11.50 – Veterans Motorcycle Parade
12.00 – Armed Forces Parade
Flying Displays (specific timings are flexible) 13:00 – 17:00

• BBMF – Lancaster, Spitfire Hurricane
• Miles Gemini Display
• P51 Mustang “Miss Helen”
• Starling Display

14.00 – Cavalry Display (Pier Gardens)

15.30 – RAF Waddington Pipe Band (Memorial Gate)

17.30 – Live Music (Memorial Gate Stage)
18.30 – Beat the Retreat – Sea Cadet Band (Memorial Gate Stage)
19.15 -22.15 – Armed Forces Thank-you Concert (Memorial Gate Stage)
22.30 – Firework Display to Music (Promenade)
Details for Sunday’s events have yet to be released but an updated list will be provided when available.
All timings are still in the final stages of planning and will be released once finalised.
