Grimsby Town fans have raced to get their season tickets ready for life in the Football League, following a breath-taking play-off run.
Earlier in the week, the football club had announced they sold over 1,000 season tickets in the first 24 hours of ticket sales going live.
Last year, the Mariners sold 155 season tickets during the first day of ticket sales. This year, Town sold 1,023 season tickets on the first day!
Then, the club stated they had welcomed over 850 NEW season ticket holders, a staggering statistic that the Mariners fully deserve after their determination in the National League.
Today (10 June), Grimsby Town proudly announced they have already sold 2,000 season tickets.
The support that the club received both home and away in the National League was truly wonderful, and only looks to be increasing day by day as fans take to social media to confirm they have purchased their season tickets.
“All done. Season ticket renewed. Can’t wait until next season UTM”, said one excited Mariner.
One parent purchased her daughter her very first season ticket, saying: “First season ticket for my girl purchased”, a social media post that evidences the generational love that fans have for their club.
