By Witness appeal following tragic death in Scunthorpe collision
Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman tragically died in a collision in Scunthorpe last night (Friday 17 June).
Investigations are currently underway following a tragic fatal collision in the town last night.
The incident took place at around 9:25pm on Burringham Road on Friday 17 June, when a Silver Audio A4 convertible swerved off the road and collided with a nearby tree.
Sadly, a 24-year-old woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three other occupants of the vehicle were rushed to hospital for medical assistance.
In a statement, Humberside Police said:
“We would like to hear from anyone that may have witnessed the collision, or has dashcam footage from the area at the time. We’re also keen to speak to the driver of a light coloured vehicle who may have seen the Audi just before the collision.
“Please call 101 quoting log 630 of 17 June.”
