Showman’s Army retain their 100% unbeaten streak!
Showman’s Army maintain their lead at the top of division 1 and their 100% start to the season with a 10-3 win at Broughton Club Pirates. The three teams just behind them also scored big victories this week to keep up with the pace.
Second placed Mulligans Trojans scored an 8-4 win over promoted side Redbourne Mods. Fu Cue beat division 2 champions Brumby Hall 9-3 whist Chaos scored an impressive 10-2 over club mates Cobras. Beacon scored the biggest win of the week coming away from Back in Black Beauty with a 11-2 win.
Mulligans Majestic Sausage Dogs scored their fifth straight victory of the campaign against Black Beauty A to stay top of division 2. Just one point behind come Showman’s Improvers who won by the same score line against Messingham Crown.
Winterton Jubilee also stay in the hunt winning 8-5 at Mill Road Black Cats. Cocked Hat also registered a 7-5 victory over Ashby Crown to stay in fourth. Glenny’s Poachers earned their second victory of the campaign at home to RAOB to give their survival hopes some momentum.
Fedoras stay top of division 3 with an 8-4 win over Pig & Whistle. Remarkably they have only won half of their games this season, however on a frames scoring basis the Ferry Road lead the way.
Beacon Rat Outcasts move up to second with an 8-4 win over Liberal Club. Mulligans Tight scored a 7-5 win over promotion rivals Cocked Hat A to stay in third whilst fourth placed Showman’s Spartans lose a little momentum losing at home to division 5 champions Old Farmhouse. Harry’s Bar A picked up their first win of the campaign over Chancel Flyers 7-5.
Schnapps A taste defeat for the second time this season, losing 8-5 at home to second placed Bottesford Town Club in an early title decider. Despite this, Schnapps maintain their place at the top of the division.
Jolly Sailor won their first game of the season, 7-5 against fellow strugglers Mulligans Youth. Mulligans ST move up into third place with their fifth win of the season over fourth placed Redbourne Madness as the hosts earned an 8-4 victory.
Broughton WMCA and RHH Hospital club both scored 8-5 away wins against Redbourne NnC and Chancel respectively.
The division 5 title and promotion race is anyone’s guess this season with four of the top five teams earning 6-6 draws this week.
Showman’s Hornets stay top with a stalemate at Ashby Crown B. Mill Road Dynamite stay in second with a draw over fourth placed Showman’s Young Ones whist Butchers of Winterton came away from Beckwood with a draw. The biggest win of the week came at Talbot as Mill Road B scored a 9-4 victory whist bottom placed Roxy Rack Em earned the result of the week winning 8-5 at Black Beauty.
Beckwood Sex Panthers (pictured) earned the biggest victory across all seven divisions this week coming away from bottom placed Scunthorpe Bowl with a 13-0 win.
Harry’s Bar Harriers stay top winning 11-2 at Brumby Hall B. Foxhills Bulldogs stay in third with a 8-4 win over Mill Road DM whilst their stable mates draw against Beacon B. Beacon Rats scored their third win of the season at fourth placed Schnapps Elite winning 8-5.
Schnapps Reloaded go joint top of division 7 this week with a 7-5 win against fellow promotion hopefuls Grosvenor’s. Mulligans Unique stay in the thick of the title race winning 8-5 at Bottesford Club.
Keadby Club move up into fourth win a 9-4 win at third placed Lord Roberts. Mulligans Spurs, a side predominantly consisting of under 18 players won their first ever game in the pool league winning 8-4 against Schnapps Retro A.
Priory came very close this week to ending their losing start to the season, narrowly losing at home to Schnapps Retro B 8-5.
