By Tollbar Academy Year 11 Students Enjoy a Spectacular Prom
Tollbar Academy year 11 students enjoyed a fabulous prom on Friday, at the Forest Pines Hotel in Broughton. Where the students were able to experience a three course sit down meal with music and dancing. The students even had chance to get their own professional photos taken.
Students arrived between 7:00 and 8:00pm in their own style of transport. There was many different styles to be seen, which ranged from limos to a rolls Royce and even many jeep limos. Several boys were even spotted on a tractor.
On arrival students were greeted by many members of staff who were on hand to help them out of there vehicles, they were then escorted into the bar where they were able to collect a free mock-tail. They enjoyed socialising with friends and teachers in the bar until 8:00pm, they then wen’t over to the other side of the hotel where a group photo was being arranged.
The students then wen’t on to enjoy their meal, prepared by the staff at the hotel. Once finished the students, enjoyed dancing on the dance floor too many popular songs, and then were taken outside to enjoy the firework display that had been put on for them. They then returned back inside to finish there night and were then picked back up at midnight.
The night was definitely one to remember.
